Wednesday Post: All About Quest Bars

Until Quest Bars, I was pretty skeptical about the whole protein bar thing. From what I had heard they were chocked full of nasty ingredients, added sugar, and artificial flavors and preservatives all of which I didn’t want going into my body. Quest Bars changed everything.

With only natural, pronounceable ingredients and no added sugar, Quest Bars are a high quality protein bar that actually tastes fabulous, and there are literally endless ways you can prepare them. My personal favorite is to lay some foil on a baking sheet, spray it with non-stick spray, bake the Quest Bar at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 5 minutes and the broil it until golden and beautiful. However, I don’t always have the time to bake them, so I just pop them on a plate sprayed with non-stick spray for 20 seconds or until they get nice and gooey. You wouldn’t think that you could bake a protein bar and anything good happen, but Quest Bars end up with a cookie-like texture with is to. die. for. There are also hundreds of Instagram accounts and websites dedicated to really cool ways to prepare Quest bars like making cinnamon rolls, wrapping them in low carb tortillas, or the classic Quest with any sort of nut butter (personal favorite).

And here’s a picture from my Instagram of a Quest Bar and PB2 poptart that I made one time! (it was gone in like .5 seconds)

I think what I love the most about the Quest community is that they are so motivational and they want everyone to be successful at no matter what level they are at. I’ll put the link to their website below  so that everyone can go buy one of the 16 amazing flavors of Quest Bars all with at least 20g of protein!
